Knife Roll and Bespoke sheaths
The design goal was to create functional and stylish accessories for storing knives. The Rohleder brand already had a material selected and decided not to use any hardware for the collection. This provided a nice framework for the design process.
As Anni Albers said once: "Being creative is not so much the desire to do something as the listening to that which wants to be done: the dictation of the material".
During the prototyping process I've found the right shape and production methods for selected leather and this way we managed to highlight the strengths and beauty of the materials. Part of the collection:
- Knives roll with magnetic storage place for 4 and 6 knives
- Knives roll with classic slots for knives
- Leather sheaths designed for custom made knives
